How do you get a Tec-22 to run? You chase it! Ahem….
All bad jokes aside, it can be very frustrating getting these plastic wonders to actually cycle. First, let me say that I don’t think any .22 automatic is going to be 100% unless it is custom-built with precision components. When someone brings a stock .22 auto into my shop because it isn’t cycling, I usually have 3 prescriptions – clean it, don’t dry fire it and try different ammo.
